From 10 MB a day at sea to AI engineer
How I taught myself to code on a container ship with about 10 MB of internet a day, founded Adamant Code in 2023, and what I want to do next.

One engineer.
Whole systems.
For three years I've built AI that runs inside real workflows. That includes search that shows engineers the page and paragraph behind every answer, an AI coach built on 25 years of coaching method, the internal platform an agency's team runs its operations on, and more.
I work both sides of it. I run discovery with the customer, then lead the design, the build and the weeks after launch when real users arrive.

Problems I've solved
Four of the 20+ projects I've led since 2023, each from the first call to launch. What decided each one was the work around the model.
01 · Enterprise AI · New York · About 3 months
~83% less time spent searching
Client estimate from engineer interviews, not usage logs. About 60 minutes down to 10 per engineer per working day.
02 · AI product · TNM Coaching · About 18 months
95% of onboarded regular users completed a session
TNM's system-wide analytics snapshot, 27 August 2026. The average session lasts 13 minutes. Inactive users may be deleted under TNM's GDPR retention, so this is not lifetime reach.
03 · Marketplace build · GTS Innovative · About 3 months
50+ screens · 15+ workflows · About 3 months
Delivery scope, not adoption or revenue.
04 · Internal AI platform · Anonymous agency · 2 years
44 internal users · 400+ connected properties
The scale the platform supports, about 220k rows a day on average, not measured time savings or revenue.
What I bring to a team
Product teams and customer-facing teams both need engineers who understand the problem before they build. I've run that conversation and built what it called for, on every project, for three years.
I build retrieval that cites its page and paragraph, realtime voice agents, text-to-SQL, AI copilots, agents and MCP servers. I design them for what real users bring, like permissions, latency, retries and the handover to a person.
TypeScript and Python, with React, Next.js, NestJS and FastAPI on PostgreSQL, AWS and Azure. I also build inside products other teams already run, like an AI copilot in a B2B SaaS and a realtime voice assistant in an existing family-organiser app.
Since 2023 I've run 600+ sales and discovery calls myself. I map the workflow and who decides, find the part that actually hurts, and turn a loose idea into a scope people can approve.
Working software and a client review every week, on every project since 2023. I hired and led a distributed delivery team, 12 people at its largest across all projects, after 100+ candidate interviews.

About
I taught myself to code at sea as a marine engineer, and I've written software since 2020. Since founding Adamant Code in 2023 I have also run discovery, scoped the work and led the team on every project. Now I want to spend all my time on the part I'm best at, working with customers and building what fixes their problems, on one product with a strong team.
Talks and writing
How Leelou turns TNM's 25 years of coaching method into product behaviour, and where the AI hands the conversation back to a person.
Watch on YouTube ↗A panel on taking vibe-coded apps to real software. In three short answers I cover the wall people hit when an app is 80% done, why security gets reviewed however few the users, and how to design around an AI chain that takes six minutes.
Longer excerpts and transcripts →You didn't just build features. You listened. The challenge was not only developing technology, but translating the human complexity of coaching into something usable.
Zoran TodorovicThe enterprise chatbot can answer that question and provide multiple sources in an instant with highlighted sources. So that's been a huge value for our company!

Open to roles
I'm looking for an AI engineering or AI solutions role on one product with a strong team. I can start now and work fully remote from Rijeka, Croatia, with US overlap until 14:00 Eastern.
Have a problem rather than a role? I still take on some build and advisory work. Email me what's stuck.
