This site collects as little as it can. Here is what it does collect, why, and how to ask me to delete it.
Who runs this site
lukaabramovic.com is the personal site of Luka Abramović, based in Rijeka, Croatia. For anything about your data, email [email protected].
Analytics, without cookies
The site uses PostHog Cloud EU to understand which pages are read and which links are used, such as CV downloads and email clicks. It runs without cookies, and nothing is stored in your browser, so there is no cookie banner.
- What PostHog receives: page views, scrolling, time on the page and clicks, with the text of what you click masked.
- The identifier lasts only while the page is open. Close the tab and it is gone, so visits can't be linked to you or to each other.
- No session recordings, heatmaps or surveys. No name or email, unless you send it to me yourself.
- Data is processed in the EU. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding, in aggregate, how the site is used.
Embedded videos
Videos such as the TNM Unplugged podcast episode load from YouTube only when you click play. Until then, no request goes to YouTube. After you click, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
Email and contact
If you email me, I keep the message and your address to reply and to keep track of the conversation. I don't add you to a mailing list. I read and answer every email myself.
How long data is kept
Analytics data is kept for [retention period, set in PostHog]. Emails are kept as long as the conversation is useful, then deleted on request.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, or object to how it is used. Email me and I will answer within one month.
You can also complain to the Croatian data protection authority, Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP).
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
